perfect family budget getaway

hello everyone. i just got back from a short vacation or shud i say 'family-honeymoon-getaway'. so, we went to Port Dickson. (sebab dekat dengan KL..hahaha). mula-mula nak duduk dekat Avillion, tapi sebab bilik yang kami nak dah fully booked (well, cuti sekolah kan? tu yg penuh memanjang), so, kami tukar plan, duduk dekat Lexis. *nak duduk Grand Lexis, tapi satu malam Rm 1000++, tak mampu laaa :( *

ok! overall, puas hati sangat dengan Lexis. another highly recommended hotel in Malaysia. let's see why. shall we? :)

THE HOTEL

located at Batu 2, betul-betul tepi pantai, sebelah Glory Beach.

THE ROOM

this is what it looks like in Executive Water Chalet (i think laaa. tak ingat la apa nama jenis chalet ni). gambar bilik tu curik di website Lexis.  tapi exactly sama keadaan di amacam gambar. ade 2 panel gelas yang boleh nampak laut kat bawah tu. kalau baca dekat review orang komen dekat website hotel, suma duk komplen laut tak cantik la, tak nampak ape la. adoi laaa. what do u expect? nak see through water? ini PD, bukan Redang. BUT, believe it or not, saya nampak ikan dan ketam melalui panel glass tu. seriously.

view dari balcony alhamdulillah. cantik. saya siap bawak joran lagi sebab boleh mancing kat situ. nice kan? bath tub besar. at least boleh la muat 3 orang kanak-kanak dalam tu. got separate toilet and shower. untuk stand shower, dapat sky roof. unfortunately, bilik saya tak nampak langit sebab ada antena kat atas tu. too bad.   

THE FACILITIES

 i gave them 4.5 stars for their facilities. they got buggy service which was very, very, very convenient. at least, memudahkan untuk kaum ibu mengandung + warga tua. as for other facilities, they got gym yang cantik (sorry, tade gambar. tak sempat amek), basketball net, swimming pool, bicycle, KMX, fishing rod for rent, children playground, karaoke room, wifi in EACH AND EVERY room and etc. you can refer here.

THE FOOD

 the food was okayyy laa.  nak kata sedap sangat tu tak la, tapi sedap la. gambar ni semua adalah untuk dinner. for appetizer ada salad ayam+cheese. then, ada sup mushroom+chicken+bread. main course boleh pick either ayam masak apa tah dengan ikan salmon masak apa tah. hahaha. and last but not least, dessert ada askem+pic+strawberry+chocholate and hot drinks. siyes kenyang. breakfast selalu tukar-tukar. ada hari sedaaaaap semua lauk. ada hari so-so la menu. 

well, it's nothing if you want to compare with Avillion or Grand Lexis, but if you need a nice, relaxing place with affordable price and not too far from KL, here's the place :)
